Edwardian Pearl and Sapphire Ring circa 1910.
An unusual Edwardian pearl and sapphire panel ring.
This lovely ring has 4 rows of seed pearls each set with a small bright sapphire between in a stylised checkerboard design.
The head of the ring is beautifully low set to the hand and has a finely detailed gallery. The ring has scrollwork shoulders in a 'split' design onto a plain shank typical of the era.
The pearls really well matched and in beautiful condition. The setting is closed to the back and the sapphires although small are a lively play of colour.
This beautiful ring has an inscription to the reverse with the date Feb 10th 1910 and is in wonderful condition despite being over 110 years old. It is not recommended for everyday wear due to the soft nature of the pearls.
Price Code: C, £1000 - £2500.
Era: Edwardian, 1901 - 1920.
Measurements: The head of the ring is 13.4mm wide.
Ring Size: P (UK) 8 (US) 57 (EUR) This ring can be resized by our goldsmith at no extra cost but with some restrictions due to the design.
Hallmarks: Stamped 18CT.
Engraved Feb 10th 1910 to shank (with indistinct additional words).
