Edwardian Pearl and Diamond Stickpin circa 1905.
A elegant Edwardian diamond and pearl stick pin.
The pin has a central diamond set within a star design surrounded with a seed pearl border. The gemstones are mounted in yellow gold with the pearls in a cut down setting. The diamond is open to the reverse allowing the light to shine through.
The design is typical of the late Victorian/early Edwardian era.
Era: Edwardian, 1901 - 1920.
Measurements: Pin 5.7cm in length.
Head 9.3mm diameter, weight 1.8 grams.
Hallmarks: Unmarked - tests 15ct gold head with 9ct gold pin.
