Edwardian Pearl and Diamond Pendant circa 1910.
A stylish Edwardian diamond and pearl drop necklace.
This elegant necklace has a baroque pearl drop attached to an articulated diamond set 'knife-edge' bar suspended from a diamond top. The knife-edge bar is faced in platinum and gives the impression that the diamonds and pearl are floating against the neck when worn.
The pendant is attached to a fine gold trace chain in a design typical of the early 20th century.
The pearl is beautifully mounted with a rose cut diamond top in a fine platinum milgrain setting.
Era: Edwardian, circa 1910 - 1920.
Measurements: Pendant 3.8 cm in length, pearl is 5.4mm in width.
Chain 45cm in length.
Hallmarks: Unmarked - tests as platinum and 18ct gold.
