A rare early 20th century American novelty silver figural Bookmark, depicting the character Mr Turveydrop from the Charles Dickens novel Bleak House.

Bleak House is a nineteenth century novel by English author Charles Dickens, first published as a serial between March 1852 and September 1853. 

Mr Turveydrop is the owner of a dance school in London in Bleak House.
