Edwardian Lilac Guilloche Enamel Buttons circa 1910.
A pretty set of Edwardian enamel button in their original box.
Guilloche enamelling is a decorative technique in which a very precise, intricate and repetitive pattern is mechanically engraved into a base by a method known as engine turning which is then covered in a fine translucent enamel producing a fine and intricate pattern.
These buttons were popular in the Edwardian era.
This lovely set is in wonderful condition and has its original fitted case.
Era: Edwardian, 1901 - 1919.
Measurements: Each button 14.5mm in diameter.
Hallmarks: Stamped 930S with makers mark to each button.
