Edwardian Diamond Swirl Cluster Ring circa 1920.
A super example of an Edwardian diamond 'swirl' ring.
The ring has a central old cut diamond in a slightly raised setting typical of the French jewellery of this era. The cenre stone is surrounded by a double border in a swirl design set with small diamonds.
The ring is beautifully low set to the hand and fronted in platinum onto a gold reverse. It has diamond set shoulders onto a plain slightly tapered shank.
This lovely ring would make a great, unique engagement ring.
Era: Edwardian, 1901 - 1920.
Measurements: Central diamond estimated 0.45carat total.
