An Edwardian Demantoid garnet and diamond ring, the cushion-cut green garnet weighing 2.05 carats, accompanied by GCS report 81281-75 stating to be natural Demantoid garnet, with horsetail inclusions, vertically-set between two old European-cut diamonds, estimated to weigh 0.4 carats each, to openwork scroll design shoulders, set with forty-four small old European and rose-cut diamonds, the diamonds estimated to weigh 1.6 carats in total, all millegrain-set in platinum mount, to slightly tapering shank, circa 1915, finger size S, the head measuring approximately 1.5 x 1.5cm, gross weight 4.7 grams. An Edwardian Demantoid garnet and diamond ring in excellent condition. Unmarked tested as platinum.
