A wonderful George I oak and burr yew standing corner cupboard; the corner cupboard's dentil moulded cornice supported by a pair of fluted pilasters which flank two panelled cupboard doors; the two cupboard doors have panels of solid burr yew and open to reveal an interior retaining remnants of its original painted decoration; the doors are seperated by a pair of drawers fronted in solid burr yew; raised on a shaped plinth base.

The early Georgian corner cupboard is a wonderful example of smart country furniture; the local cabinet-maker has utilised the finest pieces of timber available and combined them with classic architectural detailing.
