Early Georgian mahogany cutlery box, now adapted for stationery, the sloping hinged lid with boxwood stringing and brass ring handle opening to a fitted interior with divisions for stationery. Brass lock to front and carrying handles to the sides.

English, or possibly French, circa 1710 - 1730.
