Early 19th century Sheraton period unusual and fine quality mahogany side cabinet. The bowed centre-section with two adjustable open shelves, flanked by a pair of glazed cupboards also with adjustable shelves, mounted on six tapered and fluted square-section legs.
The top with an ebony banded border within a cast-brass decorative frame sliding forward to reveal a shallow hidden compartment behind the bowed centre-section, lockable from the side. Provenance: Norman Adams. Circa early 19th century.
