Early 19th Century French Green Lacquered Mirror.

An early 19th century, green lacquered and woodgrained, neoclassical mirror with its original bevelled plate.

France, circa 1820.

The original bevelled plate surrounded by a gilded, moulded border. The cavetto frame with green lacquerwork decoration with fine vertical feathering. Surrounded by an ormolu neoclassical border, within a repeat of the green decoration in a narrow moulding surrounded by a narrow, 5.5cm deep, woodgrained frame imitating rosewood.
