A fine early 19th century German carved and gilt pier mirror in the neo-classical style, the top panel with a carved depiction of the goddess Ceres, resting on a border of egg and dart moulding, flanked by carved lion's masks, the borders ornamented with carved fruiting vines finished in two tones of gilding and having a carved pearl border.
