Duddington Church and Barn by Sir David Murray RA.

Oil on canvas, signed and dated 1933.  24 ins x 36 ins (61 cm x 91.5) cm).  Duddington is in Lincolnshire on the River Welland, near Stamford. Murray was a Scottish landscape painter born in Glasgow and moved to London in 1882.  He became an RA in 1905.  His landscapes were filled with light and colour, with views of England the the Continent.
