A finely engraved miniature cannalée carriage clock by Drocourt, with champlevé enamelled dial and panels; the eight-day duration timepiece movement has the original silvered platform lever escapement. The backplate is stamped with the Drocourt trademark, the initials D.C. either side of a clock within an oval, along with the serial number 12271, which gives a date of manufacture of circa 1880.
The dial is of multi-coloured champlevé enamel and has a gilded chapter with black Roman hour numerals and blued steel moon hands.
The miniature gilded cannalée case is finely engraved and has matching champlevé enamelled panels to the sides.
