A Doulton Lambeth stoneware jug, c. 1895. The bulbous jug, applied with reliefs of cricketers, a batsman, bowler and wicket keeper, within panels. The panels tube lined in Art Nouveau taste, with stylised flowering plants. All upon a saltglazed ground, heightened with brown, green and blue glazes. Having a simple strap handle.
Impressed factory marks and model numbers to the base.
Height - 14.5 cm, 5 3/4”.
Condition - Perfect. No damage. No restoration.
