Dated: 1700 Barnstaple Devon England
The earthenware floor tile is decorated in strongly defined relief with a Fleur de Lys and the initials T and W on each side and the year date 1700. The tile is an exceptionally rare example from the Thomas Wickey Works located in Barnstaple, North Devon England.

Provenance: With Jonathan Horne ( The late English pottery specialist located in London) and then from a private collection of Devon and Somerset pottery.
