This unusual Delft pottery blue and white food or plate warmer dated at the base of the bowl 1787 with the initials C A O. The bowl would be filled with hot water, the serving plate supported by the interestingly formed rim.
The piece decorated with chinoiserie-inspired pagodas, rocks, and foliage scenes.
Dimensions: 4.25 inches high.
Diameter: 7 inches.
Current Condition: Hairline professionally restored.
