Unexceptional, humble Cornish, mid 19th century armchair touched by the hands of greatness. Provenance: Dame Elizabeth Frink. From the residual contents of Woolland House, Blanford Forum. Placed in storage after the artist's death, see storage label. Slightly mis-shapen but none the worse for it. Recently consigned to a Dorset country auction by the artist's grandson.
