Four 19th Century Knitting Sheaths on a purpose made stand. Two of the Sheaths by Brothers ( William Atkinson 1846 and Robert Atkinson 1837) with inset ‘windows’ containing Poems to sweethearts. These two Sheaths are very similar in design to each other being oblong with chains. There is a carved ‘goosewing’ sheath and another shaped sheath with a poem.
