A collection of five English pottery slipware agateware balls late 18th century.

Dated: 1780 Staffordshire England.

Five rare pottery earthenware agateware balls made with variagated coloured clays. These pieces were probaly made to replicate metamorphic marble balls which were statements of fashion associated with the Grand Tour embarked by the wealthy.

Current Condition: Good condition and with no restoration with some minor signs in places of historic wear.
