Claudius Linossier - Art Deco Period Dish.
Dinanderie Decoration on copper, this technique involves creating hand raised copper vessels decorated with metal oxides, hammered into the base metal and then heated to create a palette of subtle and beautiful colours.
Claudius Linossier was one of the most important metal artists of the Art Deco Period.
He studied in the workshop of Jean Dunand, Paris before opening his own workshop in Lyon, 1920.
