Chippendale Period Tea Table.
George III period 18th century mahogany tea table.
The figured mahogany rectangular top retains an old finish and opens onto a gate leg action mechanism. The well drawn and scaled tea table has quality and the rear legs match the the front legs for design and decoration. The figured mahogany frieze sits above four crisply carved stiff leaf decorated legs that taper and terminate on ball and claw feet.
