A rare Chinese porcelain five piece garniture of hexagonal section vases, three of baluster form with covers and two beaker vases, all decorated in underglaze blue and pale lavender wash, with peony and bamboo, highlighted in gold.
The rare lavender ground is stylish and striking and an example of the adventurous and creative experimental decoration that is characteristic of this late Kangxi period.
