Chinese Kangxi Blue and White Ribbed Jar.

Chinese early 18th century blue and white molded jar made for export to Europe at Jingdezhen. Made during the reign of the Emperor Kangxi 1662-1722.

The body is molded with ribs which are smoothed out to allow for 4 roundels depicting scenes from Chinese culture.

The top and bottom of the body again is smooth with flowering branches.

Double circle to the base.
