Chinese early Qianlong shaped famille rose shaped large oval platters.
Painted to the centre with a seated deity in a garden setting with zig zag fence, jardinière of flowers and pine trees.
The scalloped shaped border of vines and trailing foliage  is heightened with gilt
The shape is often associated with being for serving meats on or the base of tureens.  Made for the European market at the kilns at Jingdezhen
