Yongzheng (1723-35).
Decorated to the central quatrefoil panel with a finely dressed lady playing the guqin underneath a tree, among archaic vessels and a cabinet containing scholarly tomes, with other precious objects.
The well with lozenge diaper and iron-red stylised lotus scroll. The rim with four cartouches containing carp and chickens, interspersed with blossoming flowers including chrysanthemum and peony, all in bright famille rose enamels with gilding.
