Chinese Export Silver Salver, of octagonal shape, and with eight panels fanning out from the centre and chased with lotus and egrets, magpies and peonies, butterflies and pomegranate flowers, doves and magnolia.
There is a retailer mark of a Lombardic "H" which is the mark used by Hoaching of Canton; and a maker's mark for Zhao Chang (兆昌). There is an additional mark of E. Wyon.
