A Chinese Export Silver Jug, made by the renowned Canton silversmith Khecheong, around 1850.
It is embossed in a style similar to that used in America at this time, and is decorated with 3 birds and a seated hare as well as a pagoda and other Chinese buildings.
The jug has a hinged lid and dragon handle and stands on acanthus feet.
