Chinese Export Porcelain Famille Rose Cachepot.
Circa 1750-60.
The very large Chinese Export porcelain cachepot is of cylindrical form with an inverted shell handle to each side. There is a grouping of bamboo and peony plants to each side, and from the rim are large lappet-shaped panels with dramatic brown swirls overlaid with famille rose flowers and leaves.
Condition: Tiny chip repaired.
