The Chinese Export porcelain large Imari punch bowl is painted on the exterior with underglaze blue and gold chrysanthemums and iron-red and gilt scrolling branches with underglaze blue leaves on the iron-red diaper ground. A band of a different diaper surrounds the rim with oval panels with gilt and iron red flowers and leaves The interior with butterfly and flowering branches issuing from a mound with a thin underglaze blue band surrounding the central well..
Dimensions: 13 3/4 inches diameter x 5 1/2 inches high (34.93cm diameter x 13.97cm high).
