Circa 1770.
The large attractive Chinese Export Blue and White Porcelain dish is unusually painted with a rare design. The design is slightly off center with several fabric-covered scrolls and a collector's box surrounded by a flowering plant and various large leaves from different plants which extend across the central well of the dish. The inner border consists of repeating waves at angles with a large smaller panel to the center top and bottom with scrolling leaves. The outer double border consists of a row of diaper with, on the inside, large flowering plants.
