Chinese Export display shelves.
Chinese ebonised hardwood, pagoda topped, display shelves with a carved and fluted pagoda top over three graduated china display shelves supported by fine turned columns to the sides and with a paper lined drawer beneath with two brass pull handles. Of Anglo-Chinese design, the pagoda top is seen in England in designs produced by Thomas Chippendale in the 18th century.
