Chinese dehua Dutch decorated polychrome lobed dish, decorated mid 18th Century, the porcelain possibly earlier, decorated in the centre with a bird perched on a blossoming prunus branch in a fenced garden, the wide border with long cartouches containing parrots among flowers and banded-hedges interspersed by roundels containing a fisherman and houses against a gilt ground with stylised foliate scrollwork, with old collector’s label to the base; diameter: 8 3/4 in. (22.5 cm.)
