Chinese Canton enamel tea canister, Qianlong (1736-95), with chamfered corners, each of the four sides decorated with a panel containing various archaistic burners and ritual vessels with coral, feathers and sceptres, against patterns of interlocking shapes in green and blue with cartouches of black foliate scroll, all within single blue lines to the rim and foot; the neck with further foliate scroll within a single pink line.
