Chinese blue and white charger, Kangxi (1662-1722), of moulded form with gently barbed rim, decorated to the central roundel with a beribboned basket of flowers, with ruyi-head and lotus petal bands; the wide rim with twelve petal-shaped cartouches containing floral and fruiting boughs, against alternating diaper and fish-scale grounds; the reverse with three floral sprays and central lingzhi mark within concentric circles.
