Chinese blue and white beaker vase, Kangxi (1662-1722), of archaic gu form, the bulbous mid-section, upper and lower registers with shaped cartouches alternately containing precious objects and flowering shrubs; against a cellular ground of diaper and flowerheads interspersed by small peach-shaped cartouches containing beribboned precious objects, bands of geometric design to the top and bottom of each section
