Chinese blue and white beaker and saucer, Kangxi (1662-1722), the saucer and beaker both decorated to the exterior with large ogee-shaped panels in blue containing flowering sprays of chrysanthemum and daisies amongst curling foliage in white reserve, interspersed by small tasselled ruyi-heads, the rims with narrow bands of cross-hatch pattern, the centre of the saucer with a single floral spray enclosed by a double circle and with four small flowerheads around it, the bases with central conch shell babao and the saucer with four further beribboned precious objects to the underside rim.
