Late Transitional 17th century rare molded porcelain wucai salt made at the end of the reign of Shunzhi or the beginning of the reign of Kangxi c1660 for export to Europe made at the kilns at Jingdezhen.
The top is indented to the top for the salt and the rest of the top is petal molded to reflect the flowers which are painted to the top and the around the underside.
the base is octagonal in shape painted with scattered flower heads and stylised Ruyi heads which are slightly raised above the rest of the body/
The middle section is painted with burnt orange colour to show a single band below a scrolling pattern
