China-Trade hardwood box on stand.
Rectangular box with panelled top within framing, opening, with a lock, key and a pair of paktong strapwork hinges, to a now void interior, which would formerly have contained a removable tray, probably with divisions.
To the sides a bold pair of folding paktong bale handles with backplates. The stand with four figured veneered sides to D moulding over square tapered legs with pierced scroll corner brackets.
