Chelsea Rococo Porcelain Mazarine Blue Plate with Birds & Flowers,
Gold Anchor Period,
1759-68.
The Chelsea porcelain plate with a rococo design of a wide flower and trellis border in gold on a wet blue (Mazarine) ground with central decoration of a circular wreath of flowers with three large exotic birds resting upon it on the white ground. The moulded rim is dentil gilded.
Dimensions: 8 1/8 inch diameter.
