Very fine quality inlaid mahogany Georgian Stick Barometer in largely original condition; with 'break-arch' pediment over silvered brass register plate, signed by the maker, bearing Fahrenheit thermometer and manually operated Vernier slide.
The protecting door, unusually with ebony moulding on satinwood ground.
The well patinated trunk, edge moulded, 'herringbone' veneered, chevron banded and terminating in original turned cistern cover, inlaid with triple concentric chequer bands.
