A superb Charles II Yorkshire carved oak armchair; the armchair's scrolling cresting rail carved with thistles and stylised foliage above scrolling ear pieces and downswept arms which flank a panelled back boldly carved with central diamond decorated with stylised foliage and four leaves radiating out. The armchair's wooden seat above a seat rail carved with lunettes to the front and sides. Raised on turned legs united by moulded stretchers. This oak armchair is in wonderful untouched and dry condition.
