A Charles II oak two part chest of drawers.
Constructed in two parts to facilitate moving it particularly up staircases, this Charles II oak chest has two narrow and two deep drawers decorated with geometric mouldings.
The boarded top has substantial mitred mouldings and it has a waist moulding and a further moulding at the base. It stands on its original high stile legs and the brass drop handles and escutcheons also appear to be original.
Excellent untouched rich dark colour and patination.
