A wonderful English oak court cupboard or Almoner which is profusely carved and with a good rich colour – dated 1700.
There is a hand written label to the interior “This Almoner (date 1700) was given to Harold George Eustace Pieston , by his father Rev George Pieston, Rector of Great Fransham, Norfolk in the lifetime of the latter, George Pieston.”
