A finely carved 19th century French Louis XV style wingback armchair upholstered in linen.
French Circa 1870.
A decorative and well carved solid walnut wing back armchair having a shaped back with winged show wood sides falling to scrolled and finely carved arms enclosing a feather cushion seat, raised on carved cabriole legs with shell and foliate apron. Recently newly upholstered by us in a fine quality voyage linen finished with individual brass stud work surround.
The finely carved walnut frame having a lovely natural colour and finish which works extremely well with the neutral linen material and studwork.
A well drawn, stylish and very comfortable 19th Century wing chair which will work well in most settings.
