Of the very highest quality, the carcass constructed from Cuban flame mahogany; the lockplate of shaped elliptical escutcheon form (and bearing stamps to the interior, 'London' & 'RS'), and housing an inset carrying handle; the gilt tooled Morocco leather interior houses a stationery division, the lower section opening to reveal a fitted interior with writing implements; to the left, a pencil tray, and a self-sealing inkwell marked with the patent of ‘H. Webster, London’.
