Chinese Kangxi Blue and White Vase and Cover.
Of slender baluster form, the tall sides rising from a slightly spreading foot to tall gently waisted neck, with two rows of raised lotus petal panels around the foot and one row at the shoulder, decorated in shades of underglaze blue, the body with vertical panels each containing a spray of flowers, including prunus, peony and chrysanthemum, the neck with further panels containing single blooms of lotus and peony alternately, the high domed cover similarly decorated and surmounted by a knop finial, a band of floral scrolls around the foot, the base glazed and with a lingzhi mark within a double circle in underglaze blue.
