A beautiful pair of lifelike Japanese mother of pearl fantail doves, Circa 1880.
This life-size pair of fantailed doves are created by placing intricately carved individual mother of pearl feathers onto a carved wooden base, they stand on sturdy bronze legs.
Condition is very good.
