Early Heriz carpets from north west Persia are in a class of their own. Prized for their artistic geometrical designs, fine durable construction and wonderful vegetable dyed colours, they have always stood out for their aesthetically appealing designs and make ideal decorative rugs.

This attractive Heriz carpet has a bold graphic drawing in relation to its size and a harmonious variety of vegetable dyed colours which have aged nicely. The soft terracotta red field and sky-blue spandrels are particularly attractive . Its weave is unusually fine for a Heriz which explains the clarity of the drawing.

A handsome example that would nicely complement a wide variety of settings.

This rug can be viewed in our showroom or in situ. Please contact us to arrange a viewing.
