An elegant Edwardian demantoid garnet brooch.
This beautiful cartouche designed brooch has a beautiful outer reed and ribbon border.
Within this delicate border, an open work designed centre holds laurel leaf and bead work detailing. The brooch has a simple gold pin to the reverse.
This lovely piece has its original fitted case by Russells Ltd, LLandudno.
Era: Edwardian, 1901 - 1920.
Measurements: Total demantoid garnet weight estimated 0.50 carats.
Brooch 3cm in length, 2cm at widest point, it weighs 4.2 grams.
Hallmarks: Unmarked - tests 15ct gold.
